Wilson and Associates Personnel Inc. provides permanent placements, temporary staffing   contract and temp-to-hire staffing services in healthcare, executive, administrative and clerical positions, accounting, information technology, sales and many others. WAPI is a recognized leader in the personnel placement and staffing industry and ranks among the most respected personnel firms in the Northwest Florida Panhandle area.

Our History

The stellar team of Wilson and Associates Personnel Inc. entered the recruiting and personnel placement industry in 1985 based out of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, home to the beautiful Emerald Coast. WAPI ownership is privately held with a commitment to grow in a manner that reinforces its position as a full-service personnel industry leader by providing jobs and improving peoples' lives.

Meet our stellar team with a combined 23 years of staffing experience:

Management: Sheila Scott – President and Senior Recruiter

Susan Ozbirn – Staffing Manager Specialist

Susan Ozbirn began her career in Temporary Staffing and Recruiting in 1985. She has worked in a wide variety of industries including Accounting, Administration and Education industries.

Susan is the Staffing Manager at Wilson Personnel, concentrating on the Medical and Accounting industries.

Susan is active in many community organizations including Emerald Coast Business Leaders Network (BLN), where she serves as office of Secretary. She also serves at The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce where she is active in several committees and is currently the Co-Chair of the Chamber Ambassadors and also Chair Person of the Dog Daze Festival.

Susan’s community involvement also includes Team Captain for The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event.

She has received the award for Top Dollar Recruiter in 2006. Susan has received several awards for her outstanding leadership and commitment including The Above and Beyond Award 2008 and The Making a Difference Award 2007.

Susan is a graduate of Leadership Okaloosa Program for 2008.

Donna Cunningham – VP and Director of Operations

Donna Cunningham, FACMPE has over 18 years of healthcare management experience in hospitals, clinics and physician practices.  Donna obtained her Fellowship in the American College of Medical Practice Executives in October of 2007 and has been a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American Association of Orthopedic Executives since 1993. 

Donna specializes in healthcare recruitment for physicians, nurses, healthcare executives and non-clinical personnel. Prior to joining Wilson and Associates; Donnas’ accomplishments include over 16 years of healthcare Administration in many specialties including  orthopedics, internal medicine, OBGYN, dermatology, family practice, urology and diagnostic imaging. Donnas’ in depth knowledge in the healthcare industry has added to her success in the recruitment industry. Since joining our firm Donna has been dedicated to building relationships and partnering with regional as well as national healthcare industry professionals. 

Donna was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State and Tulane Universities. Donna relocated to the beautiful beaches in Northwest Florida.
